Terms for the Starter Kit

Plain English terms for the one thing you can pay SHATOSHI for right now: a support donation that comes with the Starter Kit. Everything else on the site is free.

Education only. SHATOSHI gives general education about Bitcoin and self-custody. We do not give financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and we never tell you whether to buy, sell or hold anything. SHATOSHI is not authorised by the FCA. Bitcoin is a high-risk investment and its price can fall as well as rise.
We never ask for your recovery words, passphrase, PIN, passwords or remote access, and we never ask you to send Bitcoin anywhere. Anyone who does is a scammer, including someone claiming to be us.
Payments are taken by Stripe's secure checkout. SHATOSHI is not a registered charity, so payments and donations are not Gift Aid eligible.

Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.

The Starter Kit and donations

The Starter Kit PDF is free to download. Donations are optional and do not unlock anything extra. The kit is a printable digital guide covering self-custody, choosing and setting up a hardware wallet, backups, passphrases, the test restore, inheritance basics and scam red flags.

Changed your mind about a donation? Donations do not buy anything. If you change your mind within 14 days of donating, email hello@shatoshi.co.uk and we will refund you in full within 14 days of you telling us, to your original payment method.
If something is wrong: if a donation goes wrong, or the kit will not download, email hello@shatoshi.co.uk and we will put it right. This does not affect your legal rights.

Setup calls (coming soon)

One-to-one setup calls are not open for booking yet, and we are not taking payments for them. Before calls launch, we will publish their full terms here, including the price, what is included and your 14-day right to cancel.
